"The most extraordinary thing in the world is an ordinary man and his ordinary wife and their ordinary children."

G.K. Chesterton said this. It strikes a chord. I look at my children and see a wild beauty that falls into the category of 'miracle'.

Mothering is a crazy ride.

There is no good way to tuck it all into a nutshell.

My three sidekicks are outrageous. They are fantastic little humans. And then, sometimes there is mind blowing frustration. But life is funny, and that frustration is softly cocooned in complete and utter devotion. The daily grind can wear me out. And then all of a sudden I am thunderstruck by the sound of my five year old singing. Who knew? You can't know. It can't be explained.

I try to capture it in words every now and again.

This is where I will archive those posts.

Again, this is a work in progress and archiving is my least favorite thing.
