Thank you for your patience.
I am not dead.
I am in Georgia for my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary.
I have been gone too long and it's so lovely to nestle down with family and friends and laugh and soak in the humidity.
I love the humidity, BTW.
I will be back here soon with lots of tales and pictures.
That's my mom and dad. Aren't they cute?
Handsome and beautiful, actually.
There are not enough words to describe the importance of a good marriage. It affects generations of people. Not just the two getting married. You are offering a legacy of love.
I am off to drink coffee with my brother and sister in law before they hop on a plane for England to shoot grouse. My people are jazzy that way. Then I'm going to the farmer's market to buy 10 pounds of raw peanuts to stuff in my suitcase to make boiled peanuts back in Durango.
I'm a red neck that way.
